edotech Software Solutions is a higher education technology company and the creator of EduCore, a Digital University Platform for universities and higher education institutions.

This policy applies to the Edotech.ai website, EduCore web and mobile applications, EduCore solution suites, demo forms, support communications, integrations, and any future mobile app made available through the Apple App Store.

Where EduCore is used by a university, the university may be the data controller or institution of record, and Edotech may process personal data on the university’s behalf according to the applicable agreement.

The data we collect depends on how EduCore is deployed, which solution suites are enabled, which integrations are connected, and what information a university or user chooses to provide.

We collect data directly from users, from universities that deploy EduCore, from approved integrations, from forms and communications, and automatically through website, application, security, and diagnostic technologies.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data through the public website unless the user voluntarily provides it. EduCore enterprise deployments may process sensitive institutional records only when configured by the university and permitted by contract.

We use personal data to provide, operate, secure, improve, and support EduCore and Edotech services; manage accounts; authenticate users; deliver platform features; process demo requests; respond to support requests; generate reports and analytics; maintain integrations; and comply with legal, security, contractual, and audit obligations.

We may use aggregated or de-identified information to improve services, understand adoption, develop product capabilities, and communicate higher education insights. Aggregated or de-identified information does not identify an individual user.

If EduCore or an Edotech app is distributed through the Apple App Store, this policy will be provided as the privacy policy URL for the app and will be accessible from within the app where required.

The App Store privacy information for the app will reflect the actual data collected by the app, including data collected by Edotech, university-controlled deployments, and third-party SDKs or partners integrated into the app.

App permissions such as notifications, camera, photos, files, contacts, location, or biometrics will be requested only when needed for a specific feature and subject to user or device permission controls.

EduCore may support LinkedIn integration for approved use cases such as sign-in, profile connection, alumni and career engagement, employer relations, or graduate outcome enrichment when authorized by the user and permitted by LinkedIn.

When a user connects LinkedIn, EduCore may receive limited LinkedIn data based on the permissions granted, such as basic profile details, profile identifiers, email address, organization or professional information, or other data made available through approved LinkedIn APIs.

We use LinkedIn data only to provide the requested EduCore feature, maintain the integration, support user-directed profile or career workflows, and comply with applicable platform rules. We do not sell LinkedIn member data, scrape LinkedIn, lease LinkedIn data, or use LinkedIn data for credit, insurance, housing, employment eligibility, or other prohibited eligibility decisions.

Users may disconnect LinkedIn where the feature allows it. Users may also request deletion of LinkedIn-sourced data by contacting Labs@edotech.ai. We will delete or de-identify such data unless retention is required by law, security, audit, or an institutional agreement.

We may share personal data with the university or organization that provides access to EduCore, authorized administrators, service providers, hosting providers, support tools, integration partners selected by the university or user, and professional advisers where necessary.

We may disclose information when required by law, regulation, legal process, security investigation, or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of Edotech, EduCore, our customers, or users.

We do not sell personal data.

The Edotech website may use cookies, local storage, analytics, and similar technologies to operate the site, remember preferences, understand usage, improve performance, and secure services.

Users can manage cookies through browser settings. Disabling some cookies may affect website or application functionality.

We retain personal data only for as long as needed to provide services, meet institutional contract requirements, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain security, and support audit requirements.

Enterprise data retention may be configured according to a university’s policies and contractual instructions. Demo, marketing, and support information is retained for a reasonable business period unless deletion is requested or retention is legally required.

Users may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, export, or objection to processing of personal data by contacting Labs@edotech.ai.

If the data belongs to a university-controlled EduCore deployment, we may refer the request to the relevant institution or process it according to that institution’s instructions. We will respond to valid requests within a reasonable period and in accordance with applicable law.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, misuse, loss, alteration, and disclosure.

No digital service can guarantee absolute security. Users and institutions should protect account credentials, use approved devices, and notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized access.

Edotech and its service providers may process data in countries where we or our providers operate. Where required, we use contractual, technical, and organizational safeguards for cross-border processing.

EduCore is designed for higher education institutions and is not directed to children through the public website. Student data in EduCore is processed under the university’s authority and applicable education, privacy, and institutional policies.

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our services, integrations, legal obligations, or operational practices. The effective date above indicates the latest version.
